Unemployment Insurance Trust Fund Payoff Helping Businesses

For the first time since 2022, businesses across New York will no longer receive an annual Interest Assessment Surcharge bill from the New York State Department of Labor (NYSDOL). That’s one bill that employers simply don’t have to worry about anymore. Employers are projected to save an average of $100 per employee in 2026 and $250 per employee in 2027.
